Will watch this with interest as DS is 8mo and has been doing similar, even before he was unwell.

If there were easy answers there wouldn't be 232 messages on the other thread and a whole industry based on it. It's a bugger, i know.

Come and join our club! You don't have to read the whole thread.

Waking three times a night is pretty good at this stage tbh. They are going through a massive growth spurt plus still have little tummies. Lots of pressure in our society for babies to sleep through when they're not developmentally ready.

Could try No Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley, but if there was an easy answer this board wouldn't exist!

Have you seen the blog at Sleepytot ? They are doing a sleep diary for a newborn onwards. You might get some good tips on there. But as everyone says, there's no easy answers...

Ah. go on join us in the 'club'. Just introduce yourself and go from there. No need to read past posts. They're prolly not coherent anyway since we're all sleep deprived.

It's not attention, it's not habit and it's not something you're doing wrong, it's normal, healthy, natural and possibly a growth spurt. Most babies don't sleep through before 12 months. Those who do often do it early and then stop. Between 6 and 12 months there's tons of gross motor development that really upsets their sleep patterns.
