23 months old, does she need a nap everyday still?

I usually take her out in the pram as we live in the beautifull countryside or she falls asleep in the car.
She usually sleeps 1-2 hours, does she still need a nap everyday?

A lot of them do. it is still 'normal' to need one at this age. If it isn't affecting her night time sleep, then enjoy the break!

Ds is 3.3 and he has a nap after coming home from playschool - and still sleeps through at night time as well. He's a little horror if he's not slept during the day

DS1 was 2.4 when he gave up his afternoon naps...3 months later, he still has one every few days or so.

So if she still wants it and is going to bed/sleeping ok then the answer is yes, she does still need it - enjoy!1 It is a nightmare when they stop

my 2.4 year old still has a nap most days of a couple of hours. He can go a day or 2 without one but I prefer him to have a sleep so I can have peace (and come on here of course!)

My 3.2 year old still naps daily.

My 2.7yo still has a 2-3 hour nap every day.

my 26 mo DS still has 2 hours sleep after lunch. I have no intention of stopping it . But it does tie in with 5mo DD's sleep time too, so I get a bit of peace.

my 2 year old has rediscovered the nap after dropping it, it is wonderful, he trots upstairs after lunch and sleeps for 2 or 3 hours

my dd dropped her nap at 2.4, encouraged by us as her waking time was getting earlier and earlier. she has never been one to nap for more than an hour though. she will still have a catch up nap maybe once a week at 2.6 but that is really at nursery's encouragement.
