One year old waking!

I have a daughter who has just turned a year. From 7 weeks she has been a great sleeper. It seems now it is pay-back time.... She won't go down until 10 - it used to be 7 and is waking up at 3, wanting to play. Last night she was up from 3-6. She stands up in her cot and waits for one of us to go in. I've tried feeding her and laying her back down afterwards but she just gets furious. Have tried the baby-whisperer approach. Pretty sure she's eating enough. Could it just be a developmental thing? She's desperate to start walking. She naps in the day but not excessively - 1 or 2 hours.
Any advice gratefully received!

Might be hungry, might be teething or might be growing all these contribute to bad sleep - thing is to try and feed her as much as possible before she goes to bed. My DD was the same she slept well and then got worse and is just getting now into a whole night's sleep now she's 2 - well goes through till just after 6 so I'm thrilled.
Just consider yourself lucky to have had all the sleep you had before- believe me your DD sounds very normal now about the waking.

Thanks for the advice - think she is eating enough. Might be teeth i guess - she has 6 so far and they've never seemed to have bothered her too much. She's had a cold so i guess that could be it...

When they get bigger they do have growth spurts and get hungry in the night- someone on here recommended to me to give my DD a high protein snack before bedtime - - I tried muesli bars and giving her her tea later - it did help.
The cold will probably be disturbing your DD as she might be getting bunged up - have you tried that stuff to clear noses - you put it on the pillow - Karvol I think its called.
