I still dreamfeed my 9 month old. Can't be any more help than that sorry.

Picante · 17/01/2009 17:41

I think it was about 8 months. I was so scared that he'd wake up early but he didn't notice I'd dropped it!

RumMum · 17/01/2009 17:45

once they were going through from 10:30/11:00pm to 7:00am ish I moved the dreamfeed backward half an hour each week till they were going 7:00pm - 7:00am

We just dropped it about 10 days ago (the week before dd turned 8mths) as she was taking less and less and then refused it.

About 7-8 months. Same as pudding25, he was taking less and less and it suddenly struck me how ridiculous it was getting him up at 11pm to give him 2 oz...

We just stopped with my LO last week and he has just turned 10mths. Since then he's actually slept much better, and is taking a larger feed when he wakes up!

Flo23 · 17/01/2009 23:16

DS1 was 6 months, DS2 nearer 8 months. Scary both times..

HolidaysQueen · 17/01/2009 23:17

Dropped it first at about 7.5mo but DS kept waking around 3am for comfort (not food) so we reinstated it so that we didn't have to get up with him as he slept better with it. Stopped again at nearly 9mo when he had had to wake him every night for a week (v unusual for him) and he was taking 4oz max (at 6mo that bottle was 8oz so big difference by time we stopped it.)

20 weeks

at about 4mo, she was also still waking up for 3/4am feed too, so i thought id let her wake up for both. 1st night she woke up at 2am and just had the one feed. Second night she slept straight through. couldn't believe my luck [has done ever since].
