I am trying to get dds to sleep as they very rarely sleep through for me. So have been putting them to bed at 8pm and they wake around 6.30-7am. Most nights they wll each get up at least twice. DD2 tries to miss out her nap and sometimes does. DD1 sleeps but I wake her after 40mins as other wise she wont sleep very well that night.
So are they getting enough sleep?

hiya doppel!
Alex goes to bed at 6pm most night, 6.30 at the latest and sleeps through till half 7 when we wake her. She also still has a nap atleast 2 afternoons a week and that will be for about 2 hours a time!

ds (2.3years) has a nap for a 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day (I have to wake him sometimes for the school run). He is in bed for 7.30pm and sleeps to anywhere between 6 and 7am (and sometimes a little later)

Hi Nemo, DS1 (three next month) was sleeping 2-3 hours at lunch and then sleeping 7:30pm to 6:30am approx (occasional night waking).

Since Christmas he has suddenly dropped his lunchtime nap most days (sleeps maybe 2 or 3 days each week) and is only going to sleep after 8pm and sometimes is still awake at 8:30pm (we put him to bed by 7:30pm). And he invariably wakes up at 6am and often in the night once or twice. Gah.

think it helps that DS and DD have their own rooms so dont get to chat and stuff! I can imagine your monkeys wind each other up rotten!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should not have had that conservatory and instead built an extra 'wing' to your house shut off by thick sound proof doors!
