What age do kids stop having regular naps?

DD is 21 mo and hasn't napped in the last 2 days. She doesn't seem too bothered about it.

my ds gave up his naps just after first b day and will only nap if ill or really disturbed night very rarely at all

Eeek that seems so early, I love my hour to myself in the middle of the day. Oh well, guess it's over

DS1 - stopped at 18 months
DS2 - stopped at just over 3yrs (though still has the odd nap now given the chance at 5yrs old
DS3 - 19 months now and I think we may have to drop his afternoon one soon.........

Mine were both 2. You may find your DD only needs a couple of naps a week, before she phases them out completly.

I relish ds's naptime still - he has a good couple of hours a day at the age of 2.3years. DD stopped hers just before she turned 3 but I prolonged them by taking her out in the car when I knew she was tired and she would sleep for a while in the carseat.
