Hi, 6mo dd has starting rolling onto her front in her sleep.

I wouldnt be too worried but she has forgotten how to roll back.

What should I do, keep checking and rolling her back or just leave her??

I wouldn't worry at 6 months, unless she wakes herself up when doing it which is a right pain! By 6 months they are strong enough to turn their heads so are much less likely to get into trouble on their tummies. If you do want to 'hold her' on her back, there is a device we have used in the past called a safe-t-sleep which goes around the baby's tummy at night. It sounds horrid, but is actually quite cosy. Search on the 'net and you can take a look.

When my DS did this he would wake up upset so i would move him back over. But until he stirred he was fine, he never slept like it with out his head on the side.

I dont think stopping them from moving over is a good idea, as i found that once DS did learn to move around more in his sleep he could get more comfy and slept far sounder.

And it wont be long before she can roll herself back.
