Rescue Night

Hi,

Has anyone ever given Rescue Night drops to their LO?

I have been reading up on it as we have a 12 hour flight coming up on Friday and whilst I don't want to knock him out, I would like to have something I can give him if he is unable to settle. Everything I read says that it is suitable for the whole family but doesn't actually give an age range. I spoke to the doctor about Rescue Remedy and she said that because it contained alcohol, she wouldn't advise it, however, Rescue Night is alcohol free.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

AFAIK, Rescue Remedy is a homeopathic remedy - the "active ingredients" have been watered down to the extent that there may not even be a single molecule in the dose you take. So, apart from the alcohol, I don't think they contain anything which could be harmful.

Personally, I also don't think they contain anything which could be the faintest bit effective either, but if you "believe in" homeopathy then I don't see any problem.

1sttime...i have used it on my ds, it's perfectly safe but I don't think it had any effect!!
