Bed Guard for king size bed

I'm looking for a bed guard that will fit on a king size bed for co-sleeping purposes. The ones I've seen so far are for single beds (obviously as they're designed for children) and have bars and hooks which attach to the farther side of the bed so wouldn't be long enough for a king size, if that makes sense.

Can anyone recommend one that would also fit on a king size bed? Or do you think the weight of the mattress plus me on it would hold the bars in place on one of the above-mentioned ones?

the weight of mattress holds them down i think.when we were co sleeping we took base off bed and stored it and just used matress on floor and babyproofed room.made it whole lot easier.

I haven't seen one with the fixings you describe - ours had 2 curved 'legs' that were about a foot long that protruded under the mattress.

If you just want one to go along one side then we had one of these. Worked fine on our divan base and also on a slatted base. It's just held in place by the weight of the mattress.

The double sided ones are unnecessary imo - just put a normal one on each side of the bed!

Thanks ladies!

Cheesearnie - I'd love to put the mattress on the floor - it would save a load of hassle. Unfortunately we live in a small flat and use the under-bed area for valuable storage!

Olihan - that one looks good. Thanks. I like the fact that it folds up for travelling too. So you didn't have a problem fitting this on an adult bed then? It says fits beds up to 120cm wide, but if the mattress holds it down, I don't suppose it matters.

I've just had a closer look at that link and it's changed since we bought it (it was 4 years ago!). Ours didn;t have straps, just legs.

This seems closer to ours in terms of how it goes on the bed. And would fit a King Size.
