my two year old has never used her cot for daytime naps she always liked being in her pram outside. not that i ever complained as she has slept through from 6 weeks old unless ill or teething. the problem i now have is she is getting too big for her pram so i need her to nap inside?????? i know many of you will say she will be giving up her afternoon nap soon but at the moment she still likes 1.5 to 2 hours nap or she will be cranky from 5.30 until bed at 7pm. any suggestions?

Will she nod off inthe pram then yo ucould lift her?

Tbh, my ds was 16 kilos and still napped in his Maclaren pushchair quite happily. You'd be surprised!

i can get her from car to pram if asleep but if i try from car or pram to cot she wakes?

also as its really cold now and not very safe these days would like her to nap inside?

my ds is just 3 and still has a nap in the day of about the same length although not every day now. He does sleep in his bed but if we're out anywhere he'll quite happily sleep in his maclaren as it reclines right back.(He's quite big for his age aswell). Have you got a similar type buggy that she would still fit in and just have it inside somewhere. Or maybe if her room is big enough a little bed or mattress on the floor so it feels a bit more of an adventure, it might also help with the transition to a bed for nighttime when you think she's ready.

Ah, so you can't brign her pram in then.
hmm.

thanks everyone. her pram is a silvercross mucch like a maclearn, think the main problem is i can only put her in my kitchen which isnt ideal plus my mum has her two days and she has nowhere to put her.

I have bought her one of those fifi blow up beds and was thinking she may find this more of an adventure.

glad to here other poeple put there babies in there prams to get them to sleep as i constanley get "my baby sleeps in his/her cot for naps or thats no good"
