crying before bed?

my daughter is 4.5mos old and is sleep trained. recently, she starts to cry before going to sleep. during her bed routine, she's fine, even smiling when i put her in her sleep sack but the minute she feels herself going into her crib, she starts to cry. her crying lasts on average about 15-20 mins before going to sleep for the night.

as i mentioned before, it just started happening (nov 11 to be exact) and i'm not sure why. her bed time is 6pm (give or take a half hour) and bed routine has been consistent since she was born. not teething (i checked) and i always make sure she's fully burped, tummy is full and diaper is clean before putting her down for the night. any ideas why this is happening just now? anyone else experience this?

she' getting a mind of her own

my DD 6 months and just wants cuddles and breast. Am weak. Can't stand crying/whinnying. I know I should let her learn to self soothe.....so am doing the gradual withdrawal thing but very hard in the middle of the night.

If you can bear it just carry on as you are. It is the best method.

Good luck!
