Hello all. My 19 month old son hardly ever sleep. I rang my health visitor and she told me to do the controled crying, which is not working. He usually wakes up between 3-4 times a night. He is wide awake between 4-5 every morning and will not go back to sleep. I am having to go to bed and 7 just so i can get some sleep before he wakes up. Please help

My 20 mth DD is the same! She has one sleep in the day after lunch. Settles perfectly well at bedtime - straight to sleep with a little music. Normally wakes at 5am and then screams to be downstairs, downstairs... Tried controlled crying in morning but that doesn't work. In the end go downstairs and give her a bottle and then she will fall asleep on sofa normally till about 7.00/7.30am. Lately is waking at 4am and will not settle back down for at least an hour. Then back to sleep till 7am... wish I could just stop the middle night/early morning wake-up call... Any advice..? Off to see HV next week so perhaps she will have some miracle cure
