My 3 month old baby girl is constantly tired and grumpy. She refuses to nap during the day and she is so tired come 5pm she often misses her last feed as wants to go to sleep. She then wakes up between 11pm-midnight for a feed then 3am-4am for another feed then she either wont go back to sleep after or she will go back to sleep and wakes at 5am all bright eyed! She has never been a huge sleeper after she was 3 weeks old and she has always been very alert. We give her formula at night as if I breastfeed her she will be up every hour just for the comfort side. She is not a hungry baby and will only have about 2 ounces on each night feed. Im exhausted does anyone have any advice on getting her to nap? or how to get her to go through the night?

I started a routine at about this age and stuck to it relentlessly. It was not easy and routine is not for everyone but it worked for me and dd2! She seemed to pick it up failry well and it kept us both right.

I agree that a routine may be the way to go. Again it'd be around 3 months we started with one. I used this book and found it very helpful indeed.
