WTF has gone wrong with DS4s sleep. 4:40am is not time to get up. I'm lucky if he's still in bed at 5am....It used to be 7;30-8am FFS!

Only thing that has chnaged is he's now in a bed. He slept well in the cot but was too big fo rit so I'd have to go in and untangle him from teh bars a few times a night.

Generally he'd sleep til 7:30am ish though.

Without fail he wakes at around 5am now and I bring him into our bed. I know thats only going to make it worse in the long run but I'm so tired, I don't know what else to do.

It's doing my head in.

I think the answer is the time old "it's just a phase". My ds did exactly the same thing when he was about 2.5, and went into a big bed. He used to get shoved in with us at 5.30 when he wandered in. If you don't mind, and you all go back to sleep ok, then I really don't think it's a problem. Ds gradually started sleeping later again after a while, and everything went back to normal.

You could try doing the silent put back in his own bed a few times. But I couldn't be bothered and was happy that we did all sleep again. HTH

I try to put him back in his bed but he cries.

Obviously he knows he'll come into our bed...but he wants to lay on me/over me/under me. FGS if he had any gaffer tape/a rope/super glue I think he'd attach himself to me.

AAAAAAAArrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I don't know but I am NOT HAPPY
I am still hping that he's especially bad at the mo because of being off colour, and that isn't just how it's going to be fromn now on

both of them threw tantrums at the shops today and it was just grim. A nice lady gave me a chocolate because I was being 'so patient'. good thihgb she can't see me at home!
