Over the last 4 nights. He used to do 6.30 for 12 hours waking at roughly 11 and 3 for a feed. Noisy sleeper but we managed. He always had bath, bottle, story, dummy and bed. Quite happy.

Naps during the day were a hit and a miss but usually 3 x 45 minutes.

Last 4 nights have been hell.

Still doing down at 6.30 but waking loads and needing to be settled again. Getting frustrated with himself and upset. This morning we had shouting and laughing to himself at 3 am! But he's awakenining every hour.

His naps have been terrible too - only with a screaming session will he actually settle to have a sleep. Not used to him crying and it's horrible.

He is 14 weeks tomorrow. Anyone with any experience? I am thinking maybe 12 week growth spurt or the start of teethig? His cheeks have been a little red but not badly.

think it must be a growth thing -dd 15 weeks and had similar thing (as had other antenatal group mums) - at about 12 weeks was fine re settling - waking for dream feed , similar nap pattern -then had about 1/2 weeks of this kind of early waking for no good reason at between 2-4 ...seems ot have stopped (touch wood) in last week or so I'd say it wa a phase

Same here. DD 14 wks tomorrow and getting up to 2 extra feeds at night and keeps stirring several times more between 2-4. I'm almost afraid to go outside because of the screaming fits before she drops off to sleep in her pram!

Seems all 'normal'. Hang in there!

Same here. I'm sorry I don't have any advice - I just wanted to show some solidarity - it's awful thinking you're the only one like this!!

Dummy addiction? Wakes up every time it falls out? If so throw it away and hope he can learn to selfsoothe?

can I just share a bit of good news -dd just got a bit better the last couple of nights -has soothed herself back to sleep when woke up at about 4 and started cooing and last night even left her to settle in cot at 8.30 (after feed etc)... this is from baby who is generally addicted to being cuddled to sleep.

Ok it may not last but just thought might want some good news after teh 12 week hell dip
