A couple of times now, our DD has woken up with a really wierd, different sounding cry and just carries on crying until we pick her up and give her a cuddle. She looks absolutely terrified in her cot and the cry is like nothing I've ever heard her come out with before. It's awful. Can she possibly have had a nightmare? What other explanations might there be? Anyone else experienced this?
