DD2 is 19 months. She's been trying to climb out of her cot for a while, which was OK, as it's impossible to do wearing her sleeping bag. But this morning I twice found her trying to climb back into it. God knows how she managed it, but she was stuck on top of the cot side, one leg either side of the bars. So it's clearly not safe.
So now here I am sitting listening to her most decidedly not sleeping for her lunch time nap (she ALWAYS sleeps, but not today of course - running around her room like a hefalump!!). I've shut a stairgate across her room, so she's leaning over calling Mummy, mummy.....
I'm dreading this evening. I'm not at all sure what to do, not least as she shares a room with DD1 and is bound to disturb her. I never had much trouble when DD1 went into a bed. For the first 6 weeks or so it didn't seem to cross her mind she could actually get out, and by the time she realised she was pretty settled into it.
So.... advice?????
