Ds1 (3.10) finding us co-sleeping with ds2 (7mo) a bit difficult.

And fair enough, he wants a piece of the co-sleeping action!

Generally he is happy in his bed, in his room. Always goes to sleep fine and is ok through the night. The only thing is that he has taken to waking earlier and earlier (we are now at about 5am) and wanting to get in with us. We have no objection to this and would really like to include him when he wants to be there but our bed is just not big enough and we don't have the room or money to get a bigger one.

Ds2 tends to start in his cot and then come in with us for night feeds, so he is not there all night but for at least half of it.

I can understand how ds1 feels. I'm not even sure if there is an answer to this. Have other people had this? What did you do?

can you put ds1's bed in your room?

We have DS an DD in with us - DD in cot, DS in our bed

That's a great idea but we just don't have the space.
