DS wakes between 3 and 4 for a feed but when we put him down after, he will then grunt and groan for a good couple of hours in his sleep. Although he still sleeps, we can't!

Going to try and give him Gripe Water tonight to see if that helps with his farting/wind. He burps no problem it's the other end causing problems.

How do I get 5ml of GW into a 9 week old though?

Oh, it is a nightmare - why they don't provide a syringe?
I used to put dd in the bouncy chair and pour it down her with a spoon. Much easier would be to get a syringe (I got one from the chemist) and syringe it in.

Are you sure that he is uncomfortable? babies quite often grunt and groan!
