DD (9 months) has stinky cold .. running a fever last night (39.9) so broken sleep

She had a 20 mins sleep this afternoon (normal for her) but got cranky at 4.20 so I put her down for another nap

she is still asleep now

thing is bedtime for her is 5.30 to 6pm .. so

do I wake her up now for an hour, or just leave her (she hasn't had a nightime drink) but has a full tummy

arrrrgghhhh ... sleep conundrum

If she's sick, let her sleep. Give her a nighttime drink when she wakes later, if she wakes?

I'm a big fan of schedules, but not when they're ill, then they need all the sleep they can get.

it's a gamble you could leave her but if she wakes at say 9 pm for her drink will she go back to sleep? would she wake early in morning??

I think I would be tempted to wake and then put back to bed at normal time or bit later depending on tiredness!

agree .. sleep it is then

watch her wake up in 5 minutes now

Have a really early night yourself just in case she wakes up early or you'll be shattered.
