Teeth, perhaps? Have you got any Calgel/Dentinox gel - perhaps rub some on her gums?

Could you go for a walk with the pram? She might drop off then.

Twiglett · 09/02/2005 12:55

put her in her cot and go into a room where you can't hear her for at least 20 mins

she will be safe in her cot, she cannot hurt herself, she may even drop off to sleep

(I know how you feel my DD has 3 months on yours and yesterday / last night was a 'mare)

jessicasmummy · 09/02/2005 12:56

She is currently in her buggy, in the kitchen with the tumble dryer on!!!

When my ds was younger and still getting up for nightfeeds, he was a nightmare to try and get back to sleep, until eventually in sheer desperation I turned the hairdryer on - it worked like a dream. Thankfully we only had to do this for a few weeks.

jessicasmummy · 09/02/2005 12:59

Im too stressed to even cuddle her at the moment. Im supposed to be going to baby clinic this afternoon - knowing my luck she will drop off 2 minutes before we go!

jessicasmummy · 09/02/2005 13:04

why do they do this to you? Is there something inside them that says im going to annoy mummy today??????

OP posts:
WideWebWitch · 09/02/2005 13:05

Don't go, baby clinic isn't compulsory. I agree, leave her in the buggy or cot and get yourself calm first. Bet she drops off. 7am is great though! Maybe it is teeth and Calpol's worth a try.

ill leave her in the clinic - im not gonna get her weighed, just want a chat!

OP posts:
WideWebWitch · 09/02/2005 13:12

Can't you ring them? It seems a shame to wake her if she's knackered and you need a break from her, when the hv could probably answer the question over the phone. Or post here for advice! Go if you want to obviously, but I wouldn't.

jessicasmummy · 09/02/2005 13:12

THANKS GUYS! She is asleep!!! HOORAH! i can now relax with a cuppa!!!
