Waking in night with wind?

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone can help;

My Dd (6.5 months) seems to be waking in night 2/3 times with what I think is wind. I find her on her tummy sort of 'scrunched up' with bum in the air! If I pick her up she settles more or less straight away so I put her back in cot but then she will wake again an hour (or sooner)later.

I give her a bath at 7ish then a bottle. Sometimes she falls asleep before I have winded her properly but other times she has been winded and have put her in cot awake but still wakes up in the night.

Could it be teething?

Help - could do with a good nights sleep!

I think that by 6 months she can probably clear wind herself - maybe she is just moving round and wakes herself up? Is she crying in pain, or just grumbling? If it's teething you would normally see some other signs as well - red cheeks, constant chewing, dribbling.

Dd wakes with a bit of grumbling so I leave her but then she will start getting louder and start crying but is not fully awake.

She does seem to be sucking her bottom lip and dribbling more although not always rosy cheeked.

I don't think she is able to deal with wind herself yet as sometimes during the day she seems to suffer quite bad. Having just switched from bf to bottles I have put it down to that. Have tried Infacol but doesn't seem to make that much of a difference.

Am thinking of giving half bottle b4 bath and rest after - maybe I will try Calpol next!
