DS 15month old will not settle without me in the room

I wondered if anyone else has had experiences with this problem.
Bascialy my ds (15 months) cries and cries till he is sick if I leave my dh to put him to bed.
Previous to about a week a go either of us could put him to bed no problem, but now he seems to just want me.
This is a problem as I cannot always be there.
We have tried us both being in the room but he seems to get worked up and just wants me.
Does anyone have any advice on this one?
I am hoping it is just a phase but I am not sure.
thanks in advance

wow, that sounds really hard. I wish I could think of something. Does your dh do exactly the same thing as you? Maybe he needs to give extra reassurance, cuddles etc. Maybe its a brief period of separation anxiety from you. I hope your lo just gets used to it again. I remember the first time my dh settled our ds he cried a lot more at first but then got used to it, but you say that he's been settling him fine before? Maybe if you spent extra time with your lo in the daytime? Sorry...not much help, but I hope someone can. bumping for you.
