What age for bed??

My ds is 2 years old now. He has in the past been quite happy to fall asleep in his cot, but recently seems to hate going in there to go to sleep. I have a cotbed for him and wondered if this was the right age to convert it into a bed - am very tempted to try this.. Also what age do you introduce a pillow and duvet?

We recently moved our 2.3 year old into a toddler bed and it was much easier than i expected.
She had always slept in growbags but we changed straight to a pillow and duvet and she thought that it was all very grown up!
She has been pretty good at staying put, and likes goingt to her 'special bed'

my girls were in toddler beds at 15mnths and 18mnths

15mnths she was climbing outthe cot, so went into toddler bed with her gro-bag on still

18mnths just refused to go in cot, went into toddler bed with duvet.

Both had pillows in the cot from about 12mnths

Thanks. That's great. I defintely think we need to try this cos he just satnds up in the cot wailing and distressed wanting to come out and sleep in our bed
