At what time do you ‘call it’ and say a nap isn’t happening today?

DS is 24 months. Usually my boobs do the trick but I’ve been trying for the last 40mins and he just wants to get up and play.

What time do you tend to say ‘that’s it?’

Even if he fell to sleep now and had just 40 mins then he won’t be going to be til 8:30-8:45

2 pm was my absolute final cut off for naps. So I would say around now probably. Poor you. 630 bedtime tonight for him!

Aww i thought this was for adults if ive not napped by 2.30 it isn't happening 😅

My eldest had stopped napping by the time she was 2, my youngest was 3 and regularly napped after a morning at nursery then lunch, i probably would try and keep them up after 2pm .

An hour of trying to put to sleep, and starting nap no later than 2pm (though even that was too late but that was my cut off for a no nap day).

Never any later than 1pm to go down. Otherwise it's a hellish evening ahead of you.

Mind you, mine dropped naps all together around 2 to 2.5.
