Almost 3 year old still waking often at night

I have an almost 3 year old. She's never slept well.

As a newborn, up hourly, split nights, messed up day/night cycle.
As a baby, up hourly, breastfeeding often.
As a night weaned toddler, up at 4/5am if she ever slept. through.
Now as an almost 3 year old - no nap, early bedtime, late bedtime - I've tried it all and she can be up for 2 hours at night. Several wakes.

She did not nap yesterday (she wouldn't) went to bed at 8pm. Has now been up 4.30am and is now drifting back to sleep. She will want a lie in but I'll have to wake her at 7am to keep a routine I think or it repeats the cycle.

Shall I just accept there's nothing I can do and won't sleep for years? No matter what I try… and I've tried it all. Nothing helps.

Oh and we co sleep or she sleeps in her cot and she is still wakeful.

Get her a proper bed. It may or may not help, but at this point, it has to be worth a try?

She has a bed - I'll try again. She was waking hourly the last time I put her in in a few months ago 😢

Ah I'm sorry, it's so hard. But if she's co-sleeping with you, she needs to get out of that habit and that may take a while. I know when it's the middle of the night, it's all you can do but to bung then in with you.

Has she had her tonsils and adenoids checked? Is she a mouth breather? Have you seen the GP?

What's her bedtime routine like?
Have you tried a groclock so she knows it's night time?
Any physical issues like reflux, snoring?

Take her into your bed with you when she wakes, it should help her to settle.

8pm to 4:30am in one stretch is 8.5 hours, is she hungry when she wakes, or looking for human reassurance?

Early waking us not unusual for a young child.

I’d go to the floor bed again, and get her to spend the whole night in there but you join her if necessary. That helped us transition to sleeping independently, we went to a floor bed at 12 months.
