15 month old taking longer to nap and settle at bedtime

So my 15 month old has been already on just one nap a day since around 10 months old. The transition happened on its own nothing was ever enforced as such and no sleep training involved we follow baby's cues the entire time. She normally would have a nap around 11am , then bedtime by 6/6:30pm with no issued during wake windows . Now for the past week she is taking minimum of 30 mins if not more to fall asleep at 11. There is no vrying involved either. She is simply sitting around or walking around her cot babbling to herself, singing, just being content. Is this her going off all naps entirely now ? How long am I meant to try putting her down for until its a sure thing that thats the case ? To add to that, at the same time as her naps become basically nonexistent, she also struggles to go down at 6 nowadays and instead goes on until about 7 or 8 afte which she also started waking up more in the night where she previously didnt .. Im not sure how to proceed here🤔 😅 FYI im a ftm and trying my best to figure it out just hoping maybe someone out there has a similar experience already been through it abd might give some advice really . Thank you in advance.

It sounds like it’s time to drop the nap. Thoughts and prayers!

I'd push the nap back to after lunch, 12.30ish. Wake her by 2pm and see if she still goes to sleep 7-8ish.

So after babbling for 30 mins does she eventually fall asleep and have a good nap?

11 is pretty early for a nap. what if you wait until after lunch? 630 is also super early to bed. My kids were more like an hour nap after lunch and bed for 730 at that time, but don’t think either of them went to bed at 630 ever - that’s when we’d get home from nursery so still had dinner and baths and such anyway

She usually would be out like a light at 11 , but now its 30+mins for her to fall asleep only to be asleep for about 45 mins max . Other times she just stays awake and we end up going all day without a nap and no further issues then actually falls asleep by half 6 for bedtime and sleeps through until 6 or 7

You just need to push the nap back, as others said do a bit of an early lunch then nap after lunch. Then as she gets older you can shift the lunch and nap later.

This will allow her to build up more sleep pressure, then you'll find she will nap for longer too as she's tried enough to have a longer nap.

Before they drop the nap they usually end up pushing the nap further and further back so they are sleeping around 1-2 or 1.30-2.30 or something. Definitely too young to drop now though, being able to make it through 1 day without a nap and an early night is very different to everyday.

I wouldn’t be expecting bedtime til 7.30/8, or later; for a toddler that age who is still having a nap. 6.30 is way too early.

I think the naps early.

My toddler is 2.5 and has had the same routine for a long time.

7am wake (sometimes 6.30)
12-2pm nap (have to wake him)
7pm bed

sometimes he plays and chatters to sleep also.
