11 month old dropping to one nap

HELP!
My 11 month old son has started refusing his 2nd nap. We’ve recently had a spell of tonsillitis so he was napping loads in the day bless him but now he’s feeling better he’s gone back to refusing the nap completely.

First one he goes down no problem but then today his first nap ended at 10.45 and he’s just flat out refusing another nap so it’s gonna be a longggg time for him to be awake before putting him down for bed!

any suggestions? Do I just run with it or drop
him down to one nap? He starts nursery in the next couple of weeks so I’m sure things will change again once he’s in a different environment 🤣

would just be nice to know I’m not in this on my own as I feel like im going slowly mental with nap math and wake windows and I hate myself for it 🤣😵‍💫

It's the right age to move to one single post-lunch nap x

Exactly what I was going to say. Time to give lunch at 11/11.30 then nap at 12.

Ask nursery what their routine is, ie what time they serve lunch and put the babies down for nap and copy that

Usually a snack at 10am, lunch at 12, nap at 1

I’m just not sure if he could last until then though as he’s an early riser so sometimes waking at 6am!

Both my babies dropped to 1 lunchtime nap at 11 months because they flat out refused a second one. For a couple of weeks you do just have to push through the morning, lots of stimulation etc and within a couple of weeks they then can last until lunch with no issues. Good to ask what time nap is at your nursery as well. My nursery is lunch at 11:30 and nap at 12 we follow that and just do a large snack at 2:30/3 to account for early lunch

My 11 month old has started to not nap at all! I get her down twice a day and for both she naps for about ten minutes. She is tired aswell which is frustrating. Might try her later and have the one nap! Getting anything done in the day is impossible
