Hello my son used to go to bed and fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow ( 5-10 mins sometimes) but since the middle of August after me and my husband come back from a weekend away he has been a nightmare to get to sleep we have done nothing different from what we would normally do. And nor did nanny looking after him while we was away.

I thought it was just a phase but it has been going on for weeks now and loosing my mind on what todo?

Once he asleep he sleeps all night dont wake up. He goes to been between 6-7 pm (on the odd occasion 7:30 )

He is now started to go back to nursery 3 days a week. ( he was doing one day a week before the summer)

How are you getting him to sleep? I'm assuming you want him to go to sleep independently? What is he doing, how is he being a nightmare?

he’s Going to bed very early? Especially if he still naps. Just move bedtime later so he falls asleep quicker

He dont have naps any more. And he is up from 6am

Even so, thats 11-12 hours overnight which is more than average. If you’ve been away he is wanting additional connection with you, do you lie with him as he falls asleep?

I dont lay with him i never have if I start that then he will want it all the time and yes he has always gone to bed at this time as thats when he has wanted to go to be.

it's normal to move bedtime later as they grow up. 7.30pm is a normal bedtime at that age. lots of active play outside in the evening
