Can you recommend a podcast that isn’t AI generated, has a British voice and is nice and monotonous?

Please help. Spotify seems to only have AI generated stuff. I actually loved Boring History but don’t want to feed that monster. I tried BBC Sounds, but anything with sleep in has weird clashing noises that wake me up as I’m nodding off. My Audible books aren’t monotonous enough.
Would love any recommendations.

You need “Boring Books at Bedtime”!

Tim Harford cautionary tales on BBC sounds? He's very British and has a soothing voice (NB subject matter is not monotonous). Or the shipping forecast as a playlist?

Not a podcast but Atomic Shrimp has a very soothing voice. His channel is on YouTube.

In our time was made for this. I like Melvin's era they are available online.

I really enjoy dropping off to The Spy Who… fantastic podcast and I often have to listen again during the day because I find it so compelling.

It’s not British but I am obsessed with the Sleep Magic podcast. Jessica’s voice is so deep and soothing, I have yet to make it all the way through an episode.

The History of England, David Crowther, brilliant. I’ve listened to it all during the day, and I am listening now as is my usual nighttime habit.

Shedunnit with Caroline Crampton. It's about Golden Age detective fiction. I wouldn't describe it as boring, but Caroline has a calm and soothing delivery.

Subject to Change by Russell Hogg. There’s a brief gentle theme tune at the beginning and end, but no adverts, no loud noises, just an hour-ish of lovely soothing history chat.

I don’t find it boring but I’m irritated by anything too boring (those inane Calm Sleep Stories, argh) which defeats the purpose.

Jarvis Cocker reading his own book 'Good Pop; BAD Pop'. But I'm from Sheffield, from another area his voice may be jarring

"The Rest is Politics" has two carbon-based British blokes (Alistair Campbell and Rory Stuart) and reliably puts me straight to sleep, although I doubt that that is its main intention.

I like Roaring Falls and Get Sleepy. The latter sometimes has US voices but you can just listen to the other episodes.

Clare Baldings ramblings is very soothing
