Maybe he needs to not have one - this is quite a normal time for them to drop daytime sleeps
He may still have one on occasional days rather than every day

Was he like this before you changed the bed?

How long has he been in the cot bed?

We've just changed my toddler into a cot bed and it has taken a bit of teething...

can he not just lie on settee watching telly for a bit, if he knackered will probably drop off. dont tell him hes meant to be having a nap, just tell him he having a bit of a relax with a dvd on, you sit with him too should think you need the rest
