Melatonin recommendations

My 9 year old daughter really struggles to get to sleep again night, it can take her hours and she is desperate to sleep but can't.

We have tried many things over the years and nothing has worked so would like to try melatonin. I have tried to go through the GP unsuccessfully so am looking to buy online.

Can anyone recommend which one they use and what dosage. Once she is asleep she is sound, so by the looks of it I need a faster release than a slower one.

Natrol kids 1mg melatonin kids gummies.
1/2 or 1 and 9yo DD is out like alight. We tried all the behavioural approaches but highly likely she has adhd (strong family history) and struggles to get to get to sleep. Often ended up in absolute state and really upset as she knew she was tired. Her emotional regulation dramatically improved as a result of the improved sleep too.

Thank you. Where do you buy them from?

Biovea. We use the liquid which makes it easy to control dose, or gradually move down when tryingto wean off. Currently on 0.5mg (half dose of 1mg bottle), in a glass of orange cordial.

Natrol. You can get hard tablets or gummies. I have almost finished the 5mg hard tablets (but appreciate that gummies, or a lower dose, might be better for a child). Insomnia is awful to live with. I just wish that I could sleep through!

I've bought it online before.

We use Natrol 5 mg gummies for our ND child. GP approved it. They work well.
