Ferber method in a floor bed?

Has anyone done the Ferber method but toddler has a floor bed? We’re on night 6 and she’s took to it fantastic, by night 3 she was self soothing to sleep but the only problem is she keeps getting out of bed and sitting by the door? Am I supposed to leave her all night or still do check ins and put her into bed on them even if she’s not crying?

Poor baby, this sounds really sad!
Of course put her back to bed, you can't leave her by the door.

How old is she?

Id say bring her back to bed unless there’s a clear reason she’s by the door such as needing the toilet.

She’s 17 months, she doesn’t cry when she goes to the door. She just gets up and walks there and will sit by the door and fall asleep

Your 17 month old baby is silently sitting behind a closed door on her own in the dark at night? And you’re questioning whether or not you should go to her? She’s waiting for you!

Just take her back to bed. I used to find DS in all manner of places and poses in his room , sometimes he just conked out mid play.
