10 month old waking two hours after bedtime every night

My 10 month old goes to bed around 8pm but always wakes up at 10/11pm. Honestly I could rock him back to sleep and put him back in his cot but I guarantee he’ll wake up again, so lazily I breastfeed him and he sleeps in my bed. It’s not too bad but does anyone with lots of baby experience have any ideas about why he could be waking up or does it stop?
He’s gone to bed much later today at 10pm so I’m curious if he’ll wake up.

This is 100% habit not daytime nutrition or solids. While getting more solids in the day will help, your LO is waking and wanting to feed to sleep. I bet if you weighed or measured those feeds it’d be very small amounts.
You need to remove the feed to sleep association. This is described in the Ferber book as a major crutch for independent sleep. You’ll have to practice other soothing methods while you push out night feedings. Id set it as an hour a night until you get to morning. So tonight you won’t BF until 10pm, following night 11pm and so on and so on until they are used to not sleeping to feed. This will be a bit better than just cold turkey for you, but cold turkey will work faster but it’ll be a much bigger battle.
