Six month old suddenly waking twice nightly and drinking less by day

My second born has always been an amazing sleeper and he’s slept through the night since 1 month old, I make sure to feed him every 3 hours and it’s always worked for him.

Hes just turned 6 months and is suddenly waking up for a bottle at 2:30 and again at 5:30, I am shattered!! Especially with a 2.5 year old and 6 month old to care for in the day. He usually drinks 6oz every 3 hours, however lately we’re really struggling to get him to finish his bottles, he doesn’t seem very interested in milk during the day, he’ll cry for a bottle and then only drink 3oz but obviously he’s hungry because he’s waking for more in the night. Have tried baby led weaning but he just isn’t quite interested yet. Is it worth giving him porridge on an evening to try and fill him up abit more?

I know sleep stages come and go, but my 2.5 year old hasn’t slept from the day he was born and still doesn’t. I don’t want to create any bad habits with my second child that may make his sleep worse in the long run

There’s no such thing as ‘bad habits’. He’s hungry; give him milk. 2 times a night at that age js amazing
