Struggling to move six month old from co-sleeping to cot

My baby is 6 months old, nearly 7 months. In the beginning we have had to co sleep due to our house being very cold and baby not settling in her bed next to me. Over the last 2 months, we have tried transitioning her to her cot, but she will not settle. We've tried the ferber method, waiting until she's asleep, putting her In drowsy, patting, shushing, dummy, lovey, my shirt, me leaving the room, me staying in the room. On the very rare occasion she does sleep, it's only for about 30 mins, and As soon as she wakes she gets so upset and won't go back. I've even tried just letting her play in there, but as soon as I'm out of sight she has a meltdown. There is nothing wrong with our co-sleeping set up, I just selfishly want our bed back :( and we keep waking each other up.

Out of interest how long did you try Ferber for and what made you decide it wasn’t working? Just curious since that’s usually the quickest method to get results. Because that is an awful lot of stuff to have tried in only 2 months so I’m wondering if the issue is that you haven’t been consistent with any one method and not given any long enough to work.
Or just buy a bigger bed 🤣

@Bitzee to be fair, I haven't been consistent so need to try🤣
