Anyone else got a Cosatto cot?

We have just got the matress for ours, and it seems too small. Dimensions are supposed to be 120 x 60 but there are huge gaps round the side. Its a chantelle model, anyone got the same experience?

Are you sure you have the right mattress? Is it a Cosatto mattress or say a Mothercare one? We had a probem with a Mamas and papas cot - being a european make, we had to get the continental size which is 130 x 70cm.

Did you buy it new as a package? There should oly be enough room to slip your fingers down the side between the mattress and the cot side.

Get the tape measure out and see what the acutal internal dimensions of the cot are, and see how far out the mattress is - if you look on the Mothercare website - there are loads of mattress sizes!

Looks like a fab cot by the way!

It is a mothercare matress and second hand cot, but matress is dimensions set out in instructions for cot! All very strange..

I have this cot and you're right the mattress is too narrow when the side of the cot is down. I have the cot mattress slid over so that it is pushed up against my mattress and have a cellular blanket jammed down the other side between the cot mattress and the side of the cot iyswim.

i contacted the manufacturer and this is a cot from before they took over the company as its a 130 size not the standard 120. The chantelle was made in about 2003. advised me to get a mattress from babymattressesonline. worked for me!
