4 month sleep help

My baby is 18 weeks old. For the last 4 weeks his nighttime sleep has regressed. Previous he was sleeping 8pm -4/5am straight! Then he’d feed and have another hour or 2 before we’d start the day. We are aware how lucky we were! For the last 4 weeks he has been going to bed about 7pm (depending on last nap can be earlier) he will have a good stretch to start with usually wakes around 12 will take a full feed. He will the wake 2/3 hours later and il feed him a few oz as he won’t settle without, but will be restless for the remaining of the night after this until he’s up for the day at 6, or earlier some days. It seems to be like it’s gas as he is thrashing around , eyes closed , bringing legs up and I can hear the bubbles also in his tummy sometimes. Also lots of trumps 😂
I’ve started making sure he is upright and burped well after his feeds. He’s never brought his burps up well overnight. I’ve changed to comfort formula to see if that helps with digestion, also has pro biotic drops once a day in milk.
Just to add he cat naps throughout the day, still on 5 naps as he won’t sleep beyond 35 mins most days for all naps. when this started I guess it was the 4 month sleep regression but how will this ever get better. He literally wakes in the morning sooooo grumpy because between 3-6 am he’s woken approx 59 times 😭😂

Sounds very normal at that age. I really think 7pm is too early for bedtime. I’d do another nap if necessary but then wait and take him to bed when you go, then he’ll do his longer stretch alongside your bedtime. Plus advised to be in the same room til 6 months. Hes simply out of sleep by the early hours at the moment. And don’t worry about nap duration; many babies never need long naps mine never did.
