Advice for 8 month old stirring and waking at 3.30am

my 8 month old stirs at 3.30 every morning - by this I mean she’s spitting her dummy out and whinging but her eyes are still fully shut. Sometimes she settles back easily, sometimes it can take an hour or so. the last few nights she’s actually been awake. She often ends up in our bed and then she goes straight back to sleep.

I just wondered if anyone had any advice? I’m not sure if it’s anything I’m doing wrong as it’s gone on for such a long time.
she’s not had a night feed since 8 weeks and eats loads during the day so I don’t think it’s that.

It's extremely common for babies to still be waking in the night well into the first year and beyond. And also feeding in the night. If she's falling straight asleep when she's put in your bed, the issue might just be that she needs that closeness and comfort, which is normal.

You could try setting up her cot right next to your own bed if there's space?

Night wakes are entirely normal on babies and toddlers, just do what you’re doing as it works! Mine hasn’t slept through till 18 months and even now it’s not consistent
