21 mo frequent night wakes

Please help!
my 21mo wakes 3-4 times before 4am and then wakes every 15 mins from then until wake at 6am. I can handle the night wakes, he calls for me (sleeps on a floor bed in our room), me or my partner go to him, cuddle and lay him back down. We come straight back to bed and he goes to sleep. It’s the early morning wakes every 15mins - anyone else overcome this?

he naps for 1.5-2 hours from 11:45/12 and then goes to bad about 7:30/7:45. He feeds to sleep when I put him down, he doesn’t when dad puts him down. No other day or night feeds

Nap is too long, he is simply run out of tiredness by the early hours of the morning. Cut nap down gradually until nights are better.

I agree with above try to cut the nap probably one hour max going by what hes currently doing. My now 22month old went through a similar thing a couple of months ago, we were up at 3-4am for the day, would try to pat her back to sleep when she woke but she was just not having any of it, I thought she was unwell at first the way she was screaming when we acted like it was still nighttime, but she was fine once she was up and downstairs so it was just like she'd had enough sleep and it was her natural rising time because of too much day sleep. I didn't want to make bedtime later if I could help it. At that point she was already only on one hour max naps so we shortened to 30mins after a couple of these crazy early mornings and although we've had some wake ups since, we haven't been up for the day at a silly time again and she's always gone back to sleep til at least 6am (she goes to bed at 7).
You basically get to a point where you have to choose between better sleep at night or more naptime! I miss that full hour to myself during the day but if it means I get more of a night's sleep we gotta take it.
