What do you do the day after a bad night with baby? How do you take it easy?

My 7.5m old is teething badly and has a cold, spiking temperature. I am alone with him today. There is a storm outside. We are still in bed. My plan is copious amounts of tea and possibly a movie in the background once he is up. Or is that too cheeky? Toast for lunch, possibly dinner.

Sorry to hear! Your plan sounds excellent. Can you nap when the baby naps?

Also do you have calpol in the house?

There is so much pressure to always be doing something with babies and small children. As long as he is clean and fed, a duvet day will do you both good.
When I was a new mum (long time ago) you didn't have to be at classes and softplay 24/7.
Take it easy OP.
