When did your CMPA baby sleep better?

Just what the title says really - we think my 4 month old has an intolerance. He’s breastfed and I’ve been dairy free for almost 3 weeks. He gets the occasional bottle of Aptomil Pepti 1. Seeing no real improvements yet.
His sleep is killing me. He sleeps for a max of 30 mins in his next to me but that’s rare, he’ll only sleep on us. I’m living off 2 hours or less broken sleep a night. It is completely robbing me of the motherhood I hoped for.
ive also got a toddler who is also a dreadful sleeper so my husband and I are completely running on fumes.
please send success stories of your bad sleeper - I need a little dose of hope and positivity!

Have you changed anything else in your diet?

Id suggest cutting our soya, onions, garlic, carnivorous veg for a while.

When we switched to alfamino (babies can still be "allergic" to aptimal pepti 1)

note: My baby wasn't BF though.

Also be aware if you yourself are dairy free for 12-18m you may also becomr intolerant / allergic.

My friend ended up voming a very expensive cheese board up down a side street after her first big night out post giving up BF!!!

High overlaps with soy and also 5% or 10% are allergic to beef meat apparently... thats what our Dr told us

If their gut is inflamed there won’t be any improvement until the inflammation goes down. But it is worth cutting out soya as well.
also if the formula isn’t broken down enough after a couple of weeks they can react to it again so you’ll need the really broken down formula.
My first cmpa baby still isn’t a great sleeper and they’re 8 but this one was also allergic to soya and eggs and just about anything at weaning resulted in bellyache
My second cmpa baby settled into 3 hour blocks really quickly.
Ive got a milk allergy as well (always have had) and I was fine going back to eating at the same level on the milk ladder I had always been at, the higher levels had always made me vomit.

When we cut out soya too.
