8 month sleep regression?

My 8month old has all of a sudden decided after her middle of the night feed to go back to sleep but wake up after 5 minutes and cry. Doing this for over and hour. This is the only time she has an issue. Is this a regression or something else?

Long wakes like that usually indicate they need less day sleep / a longer gap between their last nap and bed.
