Waking up in new cot

My baby is 7 months old and had been sleeping through the night 8-10 hours since he was just over 3 months old, when he was in the Next to Me.
Now he’s outgrown it, he’s in his cot but still in our room, and he’s waking up a few times a night for various things - losing his dummy (could easily find it himself in the next to me, the cot is too big a space for him to find it), also because he has space to roll he’s rolling himself into funny positions and getting stuck so we have to get up and reset him.
We know he can definitely sleep through because he did it for ages, and he isn’t waking for feeds, just these 2 reasons - any ideas what we can do to get him sleeping through again?

It took ours a week or two to get used to the big cot, then their sleep went back to normal. They didn’t have dummies but I’ve heard a suggestion to just put several in there so they’ll find at least one
