Sits up, then gets stuck and really upset

Now my 9 month old is getting more mobile, she tends to flip over onto her front and sit up in her cot. Trouble is she then gets stuck and even if we put her back down quickly, she gets really worked up. Getting her to sleep becomes a nightmare...any ideas to help please?

We're going through 'active' bedtimes as well. DD is in a grobag but it doesn't stop her sitting up and crawling around. We have problems when she gets it wrapped round her feet and lurches into the cot bars.

If she's pretty tired already sometimes I just keep a gentle but firm hand on her bum until she gives up but this is usually after at least 30 mins of buggering around.

It's lovely they've got new skills but it would be nice if they didn't demo them after 7pm.
