10 month old only has one nap?

Just wondering if anyone else's baby is the same. My 10 month old dropped to 1 nap a month ago. For love nor money can I get her down for a second nap, no matter the wake window.
The issue now is that she is only have max 1 hour and it's usually at like 10.30am so she's awake from 11.30 till bed time which is about 7/8pm. I've tried a 6pm bed time too and it always takes 1-2 hours to get her to sleep. Once she's asleep she generally wakes once or twice in the night and up for the day about 6.30/7.30. She seems shattered in the afternoon and rubs her eyes and yawns but just won't accept a second nap. She's never and won't ever nap in the car or the pram unfortunately. Only the cot, but that's not an issue.
ideally she could do with a 20-30 min cat nap to see her through till bed time. She fights bed time for over an hour because I presume she's over tired? She seems hyper and wired.
any suggestions ? Or am I just trying to make her sleep more than she needs? 1 hour nap at this age just doesn't seem a lot.

She sounds like my DS. He dropped one nap early, other one altogether just before he was 2. Averaged 10 hours a night even as a toddler.

He’s 12 now and still wakes up early even if he goes to bed late.

Ahh doesn't bode well then lol!!
even after 8-9 hours awake it takes me up to 2 hours to get her to sleep it's absolutely exhausting. Her brother wasn't like this but he was a bad sleeper in other ways.
