7 week old doesn’t stay asleep for naps

For the past 4 weeks I’ve struggled to get my 7 week old to stay asleep for naps at home. She will fall asleep easily, then start crying after 5/10 minutes. I settle her, get her back to sleep, and same happens again. Sometimes she will settle herself (eg if I’m on the toilet and takes a few mins to get to her). It’s exhausting, I don’t get any rest during her naps as I’m constantly soothing her. It’s the same whether she naps in my arms or in the Moses basket. It sometimes happens in the sling as well, although only if I’ve stopped (she will sleep fine if I’m walking). She also does it often at night.

Any suggestions for what I can try? I play white noise, make sure she is fed, clean and warm. It doesn’t make a difference if it’s a short wake window (30mins) or a longer one (90mins).

Thank you!

I think you are just going to be stuck to the sling OP

Thanks, I don’t think I could cope with her in the sling all day! We already use it every evening, plus when I go out during the day. I find it very restrictive not being able to move properly, and also as I mentioned if I sit down and stop she starts wriggling and waking up then as well.

Hoping there are some other things I can try!

Does she have wind ? Does she burp well? Before feeding once a day massage her well. Her legs arms back and even tummy in a clockwise direction starting from top of navel till “quarter to”.

You can use any baby oil (I used olive oil on mine).
