8 month old still waking every hour HELP

8 month old is still waking every hour, she has done this since she was a newborn and I’m really struggling. Her schedule is 2.5/3/3/3 - she’ll do 2 30 minute naps and midday nap an hour (only if it’s contact nap or she’ll wake after 30 mins). I find any longer wake windows she’ll become so overtired.

At night she needs feeding or rocking to sleep every time, I’m trying to reduce her feeds as they’re mainly comfort (I bf). I’ve lightly tried the Ferber and pick up method but as soon as we put her down she wants to play and crawls around in her cot and then cries - she’s such a fomo baby and is super active, anyone have any sleep training methods that would suit a baby like this because I neeeeeed help!

ALSO how do I drop to 2 naps from 3 when her naps have always been so short??

You need to drop to 2 naps. When you say she becomes overtired what do you mean? This really isn't a thing to fear unless she becomes very dysregulated and upset. Its usually just tiredness, which isnt something to avoid. The biggest thing dictating nap length is tiredness. She is only sleeping short naps because she needs longer awake to be tired enough to sleep for longer. When you do drop to 2 naps one nap should be longer or both an hour ish and it will be easier to get through the day. I'd try pushing the morning awake time rather than the bedtime one at first
