4 MO slept pretty well after a dream feed until about 5.30/6am. The whole of this week she has been up between 3.30-4.30 - NOT seeming terribly distressed or hungry, just restless. Have been soothing her with a dummy back to sleep & it works but I'm then repeating the process every half an hour from then on as she wakes up. Any idea why this is & what I could do to stop it happening?

could be teething, have you tried giving calpol?

Second teething, try calpol or even better, nurofen, for a couple of nights to see if it makes any difference. I have also heard that sleep can go a bit haywire around the 4 month mark for no apparent reason. My ds was waking more around 4 month mark, but he was definately teething, has the teeth to prove it now! (he's 20 wks)
