Is this okay? My 14 month old naps for just a half an hour in a day around 12/1. Is it okay that he only naps for 30-45mins and that hes asleep by 6-7pm? I keep seeing parents sleep s hedueles for their 14 month old and their bedtime is 12 hours after they wake up, but my babies only 10 hours after he wakes up?

I mean he sleeps through the night for the most part, he does wake up momentarily a few hours after hes asleep sometimes maybe 2 hours, others it's around 12 at night but he hears we are still there and goes back to sleep for the most part pretty instantly but other than that he sleeps like a log until 8am. Well he actually rolls about hes floor mattress more like a tornado but.
Also Is it okay that he wakes after hes asleep momentarily, should he be able to sleeping through without our comfort at that age?

Sorry and thanks for reading

I think he sounds like a dream baby!

Sounds perfect! Not a cause for concern at all.

All babies are different! He's sleeping, you're sleeping. Sounds good to me.

Enjoy it @kateypops - sounds wonderful.

My eldest was like that - in fact she slept even more. She was going 7-7 by 12 weeks old and was having two long naps in the day. By 14 months, she was still going 7-7 but had gone down to one nap that lasted between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.

If he has no other signs of illness (lethargy when he's awake, very pale) and he is eating, drinking and growing fine then lots of sleep doesn't sound like a problem at all.

Just be aware they aren't all like that - my second dropped all daytime naps in the day (unless on a long car ride) before she was 12 months old and didn't sleep through until she was 3.5! We were completely spoiled with DD1 - if DD2 had been first, there may not have been a second!

I would give a lot for a baby like this. Enjoy!
